The spaghetti was far too sweet and juicy. I know Tropical Treats is renowned for sweet treats, but I didn’t expect that for my entre. However my biggest disappointment was in the treatment of my companion. After tasting her food, she found it to be too salty for her health regimen. She asked to return it for a different item. She was told that after paying for a meal she found inedible a different item would also be at full price. We, and our group of 5 friends, will not be returning. We dine out together at varying eateries every week, and often return to places we liked.

We came here and ordered take out for dinner around 5:30 on 2/15. We were warmly welcomed, and when we informed them that we had never been there, they gave us a very thorough explanation of the entire menu. Everyone was very kind and helpful! We ordered the chicken inasal, the pork sisig, the pork liempo, and the halo halo. And when we went to leave, someone ran out and gave us a free kabob to try as well! The kabob was sweet and juicy and tender. The liempo was quite spicy with lots of raw onions and chewy bits here and there. I loved it, but would not recommend it to anyone who struggles with food textures. The chicken was out of this world smokey deliciousness. It was beautifully cooked and juicy with great flavor throughout the meat. Simply wonderful. The sisig was juicy and slightly sweet with grilled flavors as well. It was tender and very addictive. Then we finished off the meal with the halo halo. The purple ice cream and the flan on top were absolutely scrumptious. The chocolate straw and crunchy cereal on top brought an added dimension of texture. The shaved coconut ice was delicately sweet and flavorful. Then the bottom became syrupy with what seemed like fruit cocktail

The food was delicious and service was efficient. Love the Halo Halo! Will definitely come back again and try their other desserts!
